Cooperation Projects
Community Based Comprehensive Recovery
The aim of the project is to enable a faster and more efficient emergency response in the wake of a large-scale disaster. To do this, the COBACORE platform and tools use information and capabilities from the affected community, and build upon this to close the collaboration gaps between victims, volunteers and professional emergency responders.
Secure European Common Information Space for the Interoperability of First Responders and Police Authorities
SECTOR is an innovative research project aimed at improving the crisis management schemes in multi-actor emergency responses. SECTOR is focused on establishing the foundations of future Common CCM Information Spaces by expanding the European scientific knowledge base on (cross-border) multi-agency CCM processes and the complications these imply when aiming at setting-up and design cross-border supporting information Systems.
Emergency Responder Data Interoperability Network
In the REDIRNET project we decided to provide a Common Meta-Data Gateway combined with a socio-professional networking system where each agency can set the visibility and controllability of its data per partner agency and per data field.
Reconstruction and REcovery Planning: Rapid and Continuously Updated COnstruction Damage, and Related Needs ASSessment
The RECONASS project will develop a monitoring system for constructed facilities that will provide a near real time, reliable, and continuously updated assessment of the structural condition of the monitored facilities after a disaster, with enough detail to be useful for early and full recovery planning.
Driving Innovation in Crisis Management for European Resilience
DRIVER evaluates emerging solutions in three key areas: civil society resilience, responder coordination as well as training and learning.
These solutions are evaluated using the DRIVER test-bed. Besides cost-effectiveness, DRIVER also considers societal impact and related regulatory frameworks and procedures. Evaluation results will be summarised in a roadmap for innovation in crisis management and societal resilience.
End-user driven DEmo for cbrNe
Actually, EDEN is an integration project with the goal of collect the results achieved in previous European research projects in the field of CBRNe (chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive), i.e. the threat posed by terroristic attacks, unfortunately become extremely topical due to the high international societal, political, and economic tensions.
